A. Create a New Project<\/h5>\n
BadgeMaker Identity<\/h5>\n

Click on A.”Create a New Project” to start with a blank data grid and setup your own field names.<\/p>\n

1. Project\u00a0Structure<\/h6>\n

Step 1. is to setup the project structure by adding the project data fields.
\nA. <\/span>Type in the name for your new project.
\nB. <\/span>Check these boxes when the project needs signatures and or photos.
\nC. <\/span>Put in the data field name.
\nD.\u00a0<\/span>Set the data type. Select if the data are number or text for example.
\nE. <\/span>Check these boxes if the field needs to be\u00a0\u201cRequired<\/span>\u201d and or “Unique<\/span>“.
\nF. <\/span>With the default input field you can add a standard value to your data field, existing empty fields and new records will automatically get the default value you add to this data field.
\nG. <\/span>Click on the “X<\/span>” button to delete a data field from the project structure setup.
\nH. <\/span>Enable auto-increment.
\nI. <\/span>Click on the “Add new property<\/span>” button and add and describe the data field names you want to use in your new project.
\nJ. <\/span>Click on the “Next step<\/span>” button to go to step 2. And configure the detailed and gallery view.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0View configuration<\/h6>\n

Step 2. Choose for the default configuration or adjust the setup for Detailed and Gallery view.<\/p>\n

A. <\/span>Tab to configure Detailed view showing specific card holders information.
\nB. <\/span>Tab to configure Gallery view showing card holders photos.
\nC. <\/span>Setup the title for the detailed view.
\nD.\u00a0<\/span>Setup the information that will be shown in the detailed view.
\nE.\u00a0<\/span>Click on the “Next step<\/span>” button to go to step 3. and add triggers to the project.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0Triggers<\/h6>\n

Step 3. Setup triggers for your project. Triggers can be used to automatically change data in your project on a certain condition or event.<\/p>\n

A. <\/span>Select one of the events from this list and add specific triggers. BadgeMaker Identity will automatically wait for the event to occur before performing the action that is linked to the trigger.
\nB. <\/span>All data columns of the new project are listed. Select one of the columns in order to link a trigger action to it.
\nC. <\/span>Click on the “Add trigger<\/span>” button to add the trigger to the data column and specify the Trigger with events and actions.
\nD. \u00a0<\/span>The property shows you the selected data column.
\nE.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Select the action you want to connect to the data column from the drop down menu and define the action.
\nF. \u00a0<\/span>Click on the “X<\/span>” button to delete a trigger from an event.
\nG.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Click on the “Next step<\/span>” button to go to step 4. And create the project.<\/p>\n

Define the action that is performed once the event has been met. Some actions are only available for specific columns (for example, incrementing number values can only be done on Number type columns). Save all changes before they become active. Understand that Triggers might cause your original data to change, so make sure no vital data is lost when working with Triggers.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0Create project<\/h6>\n

During step 4. the application creates your new project after you click on the A. <\/span> “Create project<\/span>” button. When there are problems read the feedback provided and click on the B.<\/span> “Previous<\/span>” button to go back and make the needed adjustments.<\/p>\n

Now add records and data to your data grid.<\/p>\n
